App Manager for Matas Group

At Matas Group, we strive to deliver the best app experiences on the market, and we’re heading into an exciting year with several major initiatives. That’s why we’re expanding our team with a technical App Manager for our office in Allerød.

As an App Manager, you’ll play a central role in a small, dedicated team, working closely with our app development lead. Your role will be to bridge development, design, and business to ensure our apps consistently support the strategic goals of Matas Group.

Your responsibilities include:

• Driving and optimizing the development of our apps – from planning and implementation to ongoing improvements.
• Handling technical requests and finding the best solutions in collaboration with the development team.
• Translating business needs into concrete technical requirements and solutions.
• Assisting with testing and quality assurance of our apps.
• Facilitating scoping of new features and tasks.
• Daily coordination and collaboration with the development team.
• Ensuring a cohesive user experience in close cooperation with UX and design teams.
• Coordinating and aligning expectations with internal stakeholders across the organization.

Your profile:

• Structured, outgoing, and a strong technical sparring partner.
• Works independently and takes ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Able to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experienced in working in cross-functional teams and driving initiatives forward.
• Fluent in both Danish and English – written and spoken.

Your background:

• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within e-commerce.
• Strong technical understanding of app development.
• Experience with project management, including coordination of development teams.
• Relevant IT education or solid technical background.
• Experience with Scrum is an advantage.
