Join Matas Group as an IT project manager with solid experience in IT and business processes

In 2023, Matas Group acquired the Nordic beauty chain KICKS, which has a strong position in Sweden, Norway and Finland, and our shared ambition is clear: We want to be number one in beauty and well-being in the Nordic region. To realise this ambition, we are in the process of a comprehensive IT transformation, bringing together Matas and KICKS on common technological platforms. This means that we must unify systems, processes and data across countries and business areas, including category management, supply chain and ERP.

Therefore, we are looking for two experienced project managers who can take control of complex IT and business projects from start to finish. You will be a central part of our transformation office, where we work from a project model with five main phases: Pre-study, Analysis & Design, System Selection, Implementation and Closing, and you must be able to work with all phases of the project. 

Your responsibilities

• Independently lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including identification of business needs, system selection, implementation and handover to operation. 
• Translating commercial requests into IT that creates efficiency and value for Matas Group, including mapping "as is" and "to be" processes in the initial phases
• Identify the need to develop integrations with other systems, as well as manage the work of scoping the content. Project management of the actual development is handled by other project managers
• Create an overview of dependencies to other projects and cross-functional processes in Matas Group. 
• Take the lead and ensure that all project participants collaborate effectively and are motivated, even if the project is in a difficult phase
• Create clear and structured communication across business, IT, external suppliers and management. You will work with many, diverse stakeholders

Your profile

• You have at least 7–10 years of experience as a project manager with responsibility for complex IT and business projects. It is a plus if you have experience from another retail business.
• You have documented experience with the entire life cycle of an IT project
• You are structured, clear and decisive, and thrive in an environment where the pace is high and the stakeholders are many.
• You can understand both IT and business and are able to translate between the two.
• You lead with integrity and overview and dare to challenge decisions when necessary.
• You communicate fluently in Danish and English and preferably have knowledge of the other Nordic languages.
