Matas Group is looking for a D365 FO Functional Consultant SCM

Over the past years, Matas Group has undergone a radical digital transformation. Matas Group is today a fully integrated omnichannel company with more than 25% of revenue in the pure digital channels, but we have great ambitions to create even better and innovative user experiences both in the individual channels and across.

Currently we are in the middle of an IT Transformation that aims to implement several new backend applications and processes, and we are looking for a Dynamics 365 FO Functional Consultant with focus on Supply Chain processes to join us.

About the Role 

We are looking for a highly skilled and business-oriented D365 FO Functional Consultant to take part in our D365 FO implementation and operation. This role sits at the intersection of functional consulting and solution architecture. You will span multiple functional D365 FO domains — particularly Supply Chain Management and potentially Commerce – but will also work with other related applications and integrations.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, internal IT teams and external partners and vendors to continuously improve and optimize our ERP application landscape.  You will become part of an ERP team of 8 in Group IT and your closest colleagues will be Functional Consultants, Technical Product Owners and Architects. The team works together across a number of applications that all support the ERP area in Matas Group. 

Key Responsibilities

Lead, Design & Implement across D365 FO SCM

• Drive end-to-end solution design across modules and integrations, ensuring cross-functional alignment
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable D365 FO solutions
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders such as Supply Chain, Retail, and Store Operations 
• Ensure consistency across modules and integrations

Configure, Optimize and Operate

• Configure, implement and document D365 FO processes and integrations
• Review customizations and extensions to safeguard long-term maintainability
• Support testing strategy, test and release coordination across environments
• Ensure that integrations, data flows and application health are monitored
• Act as escalation point for complex functional and operational issues

Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for someone with solid experience working with D365 FO and a strong functional understanding of Supply Chain Management and Commerce. You are comfortable working across modules and have experience designing solutions that tie things together. Experience from the retail space is a clear advantage.

In your day-to-day work, you have been hands-on with SCM configuration in D365 FO, including setting up security and roles. You understand how systems connect — whether through APIs, data entities, or batch jobs — and you’re used to working in environments where business and IT go hand in hand.

You have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating across teams, know how to involve the right stakeholders, and feel confident facilitating discussions and driving things forward. You are comfortable operating at both a tactical and hands-on level and thrive in dynamic environments where change is frequent and solutions are built along the way.
